Do I need to use a deposit slip to make a mobile deposit?
No. We will use what is called a substitute (electronic) deposit slip to post the deposit to your account. You will only need to take a picture of the front and back of the check being deposited.
What type of checks can I deposit with mobile deposit?
Checks made payable to the account owner and drawn on a bank within the United States can be deposited. You cannot deposit US Treasury checks, Money Orders, Foreign Checks, Savings Bonds or Third Party checks through mobile deposit.
How much does this service cost?
There is currently not a charge associated with this service; however, there may be charges associated with text messaging and data usage on your device. Check with your wireless provider for more information.
How do I endorse the check I am depositing?
Endorse your check "FSB Mobile Deposit Only" below your signature.
Is there a limit for deposits made through mobile deposit?
Yes. Checks must be equal to or less than $1,500. The maximum of 2 items per day and $1,500 per day; maximum of 10 items deposited and $3,000 per 5 business day period.
Can I deposit more than one check at a time?
No. Only one check can be deposited per transaction.
What if the check image I photographed is bad?
You have the option to retake the photographs of the check before submitting the deposit or you may cancel the deposit. If you are unable to photograph a clear image and have to cancel the deposit, you may deposit the check one of our First State Bank
locations.
